HDMI es un estándar de audio, video digital y datos utilizado en muchos PCs, monitores y pantallas de televisión.

HDMI reemplaza los estándares de vídeo analógico (vídeo compuesto, S-Video, etc.), es el primer estándar multimedia digital para consumo.
